I wanted the focal point of this garden inspired dessert table to be the birthday cake. Michele of
Cakewalk Baking created a two tiered vanilla confection filled with fresh strawberries and frosted it with vanilla buttercream and gumpaste rosettes. She even went above and beyond by adding a smash cake for our birthday girl. Other desserts included a triple chocolate bundt cake, mini lemon meringue cupcakes, blueberry tarts, key lime coconut cookies and cherry pie pops. The table also held a wishing tree- a place for friends and loved ones to write and hang their best wishes for the birthday girl.

Wow, just gorgeous! I adore the cake--so simple, but so much more than the sum of its parts. And the stand and styling is fabulous.
