pool party inspiration: one fish, two fish... pink fish, blue fish

7.19.2011

Nico & Lala designed this preppy pink & blue first birthday pool party, and sent it along with their creative ideas to bring everything together.  Their design style is inspired by bright, bold colors and geometric shapes, which you can definitely see reflected in these details.  I'm loving the simple snack or swim goldfish favors as well as the bubbles & beach balls. Read on below for all of their suggestions, and be sure to check out their online shop...

* No kid friendly pool party is complete without Goldfish. We make them even swankier by attaching an adorable tag designed to match the pink and blue fish theme invitation.

*The pool is the perfect place for using bubbles as party favors. With our custom designed birthday bubble labels, Ruthie and Jack are certainly going to be the talk of the kiddie pool.

*Watermelon skewers are such a summertime treat. They are fun to eat and look great on a serving table. The custom food cards and water bottle labels are also an adorable added touch. For the kids, we did pink and blue juice with custom labels reading "Pool Punch". Bottoms up!

*Another party favor we did was a beach ball with a custom tag reading, "Hope you had a BALL! Thanks for coming!".

* Why not have a matching Lucite tray designed for YOUR pool party birthday bash? Nico and Lala can design the invitation, swag, and even the little cupcake tags, all to match.
