product review: shabby apple dresses {for adults, kids & babies}

2.07.2011

I don't talk about party attire often enough, but I strongly believe that if you're the guest of honor or the host of an all-out fabulous birthday party {be it for kids or adults}, you should be dressed in an all-out fabulous way.  And no, by this I don't mean pulling out the ballgowns and jewels.  I simply mean finding an outfit that boosts your confidence, puts a little extra swing in your step and turns a few heads ever so slightly your way.

For me this typically involves wearing something soft and feminine, like an a-line dress or skirt.  The Shabby Apple recently asked me to do a product review and I jumped at the opportunity to look over pretty dresses like these {pictured: Bon Voyage, Le Soliel} and try one for my very own.

 Sadly, my body image and lingering baby weight issues got the best of me and I decided to decline, but the Shabby Apple ladies were sweet enough to let me review a dress for my deliciously chubby and beautiful baby girl instead.  I ordered the Jardin dress and was thrilled with the quality, fabric and color.  It's well crafted and completely adorable.  I might be just a tiny bit biased, but I happen to think Caitlin wears it even better than the model {pictured left}.  I purposely ordered it a size too big in the hopes that she will be able to wear it on her 1st birthday in June and I can't wait to show her off... even tiny birthday girls deserve to look their best!

Shabby Apple has a lot of cute dresses. I didn't realize that they now have little girl dresses. Your baby girl is so adorable! I had a baby girl 7 weeks ago and I'm all about the dresses and headbands. Thanks for the review as now I am going to check out their mini dresses!

Just check out Shabby Apple. Wonderfully unique site. Particularly liked the "find your perfect fit" section. Helps to take the guess work in finding your size.
Thanks for sharing

I LOVE Shabby Apple. It's hard to find cute, modest dresses in store. So far I have Ballerina, 9 to 5 and I just got Silhouette today :)
