knitting: the perfect holiday gift

I just finished reading the Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs and I’m inspired to learn the craft. The time of year also happens to be just right for warm wool scarves and curling up by the fire with a set of needles and yarn. If Santa wants to get me the perfect gift (mom... honey... are you out there?), I’d like this starter kit and some cream, charcoal grey and teal yarn so I can tackle one of these awesome projects...
