colorful grosgrain ribbon

It always breaks my heart to watch someone tear through their birthday gifts and toss away yards of beautiful ribbon. Maybe it's because I'm such a package design freak, but to me the wrapping is half the fun. Not all ribbon is durable enough to reuse, but grosgrain holds up really well. I always try to save and re-purpose it, and in doing so I've built up quite a collection of fun colors and patterns. I keep brown kraft paper and bags around too... it always makes a pretty package when tied with a few strands of ribbon in different widths.
